Having a driver license is important. You will legally be able to drive a car when you get your license.

A driver license can provide you with identification to get a job, to rent a car, or to enroll in school. You may find yourself in a situation when you can borrow a car from a family member or friend and you need a license to be able to drive their car. You would also be able to drive a family member or friend’s car if they cannot drive once you have a license.

You need a license to get a car. One day you may suddenly have access to a car, and you still need to have the license to drive that car.

Once you get your license, you have it, and you do not have to worry about this piece anymore. Once you are done YOU ARE DONE!

Having someone to share this experience of getting a driver license can be powerful. Find a friend, family member, mentor or some other trusted adult to help. Getting a license can feel overwhelming.
